Madison Marie McIntosh

Madison Marie McIntosh has been praised for her “wondrously flexible voice” and “prodigious vocal skills” (Voce di Meche) and her “vocal power,” “enchanting voice,” and “velvety mezzo-soprano” (OperaWire). She won The American Prize and will sing Lola Lowell in The Impresario and the Dueling Divas, with pianist Eve Queler, and the Domme in Three Way with Fargo Moorhead Opera. Madison sang Ernesta (Un avvertimento ai gelosi) at Caramoor and Delia (Il viaggio a Reims) with the Rossini Opera Festival. She covered Tancredi and sang the Eco with Will Crutchfield’s Teatro Nuovo. She sang Orlofsky at the Wiener Kammeroper after winning First Prize in the Vienna Summer Music Festival Competition. Madison performed Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Carmen, Isabella (L’Italiana in Algeri), Cenerentola, Giulio Cesare, Hansel, Dido, Alto Soloist (Messiah), Sara (Roberto Devereux), and Giovanna Seymour (Anna Bolena). She premiered operas and other works by Theodore Christman, Peter Breiner, Paula Kimper, Webster Young, and other composers. She was a soloist in Eve Queler’s 25th Bel Canto Opera Concert and at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, the Kravis Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, the DiMenna Center, and the Teatro Rossini. She performed a virtual concert at the Kravis Center and sang in virtual events with Fort Worth Opera and the Art Song Preservation Society of New York. She performed in Will Crutchfield’s “Bel Canto in Thirty Minutes,” which includes Lawrence Brownlee, Jennifer Rowley, Lisette Oropesa, Angela Meade, and Tamara Mumford.
