Evgenia Pirshina

Recently Ms. Pirshina won First Prize in the Grand Virtuoso International Competition in Bonn (Germany, 2020) and became a Gold winner in the Russian Chamber Music Competition in Seattle (the USA, 2020). Next season Evgenia will appear as Kashcheyevna in "Kashchey the Deathless" by N. Rimsky-Korsakov in Washington, DC Metropolitan Area and will perform songs by Gustav Mahler with Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra under the button of Maestro Timothy Verville. Highlights of the season 2019-2020 are debut as Maddalena in "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi in Solis Theater (Montevideo), Opera Gala with Panama National Symphony Orchestra, solo recitals in Montevideo, Florence, Charleston, SC, and Chicago. A native of Moscow, Evgenia started her musical education as a pianist at the age of 6, continued as a singer, and graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University. From 2006 to 2015 Evgenia Pirshina joined the K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl. Nemirovich - Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theater. She toured with the theater in Italy, China, the Netherlands, and Israel. As a guest singer, Evgenia participated in a concert of Russian Sacred Music in the Vatican in Pope Francis's presence. Since 2016, Evgenia Pirshina is a guest soloist of the Opera Panama, where she has performed parts in the operas by G. Puccini "Madama Butterfly", "Suor Angelica", G. Verdi "Macbeth" and P. Mascagni "Cavalleria Rusticana". Since 2017, she is a soloist of Opera Aeterna, actively performing in Chicago and New York.
