Biography

Tahanee Aluwihare

A native of Sri Lanka, she made her debut with the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka at the age of seventeen and since has performed in Asia, Europe, and North America. Ms. Aluwihare earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College with concentrations in Music and Anthropology, and her M.M. in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. In the 2020-2021 season, Ms. Aluwihare will perform with MassOpera and Boston Opera Collaborative in several COVID-19 friendly virtual concerts and films.
