Biography

Andrew O'Shanick

Andrew O'Shanick is a New York-based actor, singer, and musician. Fresh off his acclaimed principal debut as Emile de Becque, Andrew’s stage credits include South Pacific (Cape Playhouse & Flat Rock Playhouse), All is Calm and The Sound of Music (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Sunday in the Park with George and A Little Night Music (Huntington Theatre Company), Return to Spoon River: the Musical (Theater Row), Dog Sees God (MCS Studio Stage), and numerous productions with his friends at The Shrill Collective - a female-driven theater collective seeking to amplify non-male voices in the theater community. In addition to his vocal and acting studies, Andrew is also an accomplished instrumentalist and has performed at the Kennedy Center, The Strathmore, and the Spoleto Festival. While he was a student at UVA, he was a member of The Hullabahoos, an all-male a cappella group, with whom he performed on film, on television, and for President Obama in the White House. He is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and though he lacks the requisite talent, he enjoys playing basketball, softball, and ultimate frisbee in his free time.
