Aubrey Odle

Praised for her "distinctive and oh-so attractive vocal clarity," mezzo-soprano Aubrey Odle is no stranger to the operatic stage. Her performance as Mistress Quickly garnered this review: "Odle's vocal srength may only be second to her strength as Dame Quickly in one of the most animated performances I have ever seen." Past seasons have featured Ms. Odle in the title role of Carmen, Mistress Quickly in Falstaff, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Zita and La Zia Principessa in a double bill of Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi, and many others. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Aubrey has been fortunate enough to continue performing with Knoxville Opera as a Young Artist for various outdoor concerts and performances. In Spring 2021, Aubrey will premiere a leading role with Marble City Opera in Frank Pesci's Royal Flush, and sing with the Arkansas Choral Society in Vaughan William's Serenade to Music and Beethoven's Mass in C. In her 2019-2020 season, Ms. Odle sang in the successful and exciting U.S. premiere of Evan Fein's City of Ashes with Marble City Opera in September 2019. She also made her debut with Knoxville Opera as Gertrude in Roméo et Juliette in February 2020. Aubrey has had the pleasure of appearing in concert many times, including multiple Messiahs, featured alto soloist in Bach's St. John Passion, and as a soloist in Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music. She has also participated in several performances as a Young Artist in Utah Lyric Opera's concert series.
