Biography

Stephanie Lorenz

German-American Soprano Stephanie Lorenz spent many years training to be a classical ballet dancer before finding her passion for singing opera. She holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from Stetson University’s School of Music. Her recent engagements include singing the role of Sarah Good from “The Crucible” (Robert Ward) during the Berlin Opera Academy’s Opera Festival in 2019, Handel’s “Messiah” with the Ft. Myers Symphonic Mastersingers and performing various solo concerts virtually during the current conditions. Stephanie teaches German Elocution and is a Diction Trainer for young professionals and opera singers at the Halo-School for German in Berlin, Germany. However, teaching others to better understand and strengthen their vocal capabilities is just as big of a passion for Stephanie. She herself studies under the Italian Operatic Dramatic Soprano, Maestra Capucine Chiaudani. Ms. Lorenz will be singing with the Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy in New York City this season and really looks forward to singing the roles of Suzel and Caterina from “L’amico Fritz” by Pietro Mascagni at the Teatro Grattacielo this coming November 2021. www.StephanieLorenz.com
