A graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Donahue recently completed training with the Premiere Opera Vocal Arts Institute (virtual edition), led by renowned tenor Eric Margiore.

Biography

Noah Donahue

Noah Donahue, tenor, recently created the role of Jacob in the filming of the world premiere opera, “The Golem of Prague” with the University of Florida Opera Theater in collaboration with the UF School of Digital Worlds. A graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Donahue completed training with the Premiere Opera Vocal Arts Institute (virtual edition) during the summer of 2020. A 2020 NYIOP International Vocal Competition Semi-Finalist and former emerging artist with Russian Opera Workshop, The Seagle Festival, Opera in the Ozarks, and the Castleton Festival, Noah has performed the roles of Vladimir Igorivech from Borodin's "Prince Igor," Raymond in Tchaikovsky's "Maid of Orleans," Zweiter Priester/Armoured Man in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" and covered the role of Hamlet in Hershel Garfein's newly composed opera, "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead." Upcoming engagements include Noah's graduate recital with the University of Florida, the University of Florida Opera Gala, as well as the roles of Michele from Menotti's "The Saint of Bleecker Street" and Bill from Samuel Barber's "A Hand of Bridge" with the University of Florida 2021 Opera Workshop. Noah is scheduled to perform the role of Alfredo Germont from Verdi's masterpiece "La Traviata" with Vincerò Academy during the spring and summer of 2021. "The Golem of Prague" film and its subsequent documentary are expected for release in the summer of 2021.
