Hilary Ginther

Mezzo-soprano Hilary Ginther was profiled by Opera Now Magazine in 2016 as one of ten young American singers intent on taking the opera world by storm following Ms. Ginther's Philadelphia Orchestra debut as a featured soloist in Bernstein's MASS under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin which was released by Deutsche Grammophon in 2018 in commemoration of the composer's centenary. Other notable performances include Anne Boleyn in Saint-Saëns' Henry VIII with Odyssey Opera, Joan of Arc in Tchaikovsky's The Maid of Orléans with New Orleans Opera, the title role of Carmen with Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Judy Sinclair in Rachel Peters' Companionship with Fort Worth Opera, her solo debut at Carnegie Hall with Mid-America Productions, Lureen in Brokeback Mountain with New York City Opera, a double-bill by Gordon Getty, “Scare Pair”, with Los Angeles Opera, and several performances with Florida Grand Opera including Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia. Upcoming engagements include a return to Fargo-Moorhead Opera as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, and her Opera Omaha debut as Olga in Eugene Onegin. Ms. Ginther received her Master of Music degree at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, and is represented worldwide by Piper Artists Management.
